During information events students get a first-steps introduction to studying at Universität Hamburg.

The university offers different try-out formats for secondary school students:

• lecture series "Was wie wofür studieren" (Why and what to study?)
• "Uni live!" – course curriculum for prospective students

Interested and gifted secondary school students get the chance to take up studying parallel to finishing secondary school. They can attend introductory seminars and lectures regularly.

Wanted: inquisitive young minds! Real-life scholars and scientists explain their research projects and are happy to provide answers to all questions from young audiences. Once a year you are invited to dig deeper at the Children's University Hamburg!

The School of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences (MIN) offers secondary students a variety of attractive formats. You can find vacation courses, try-out days, but also speed dating in our program. Please pop in!

Girls interested in natural sciences will enjoy our "Girls' Day" or our campaigns "Girls go Maths" and "Girls go Informatics." Girls succeed at MIN subjects as well as boys do!
