About me
Hi, my name is Lukasz Skapski and I come from Poland. Before coming to Hamburg, I studied Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. As I was doing my Erasmus year in Germany, I met a number of Chinese friends and gradually become interested in the language and culture of this fascinating country. For this reason, as soon as I was done with my studies back home, decided to come back to Germany to study Sinology here in Hamburg. Foreign cultures have always fascinated me. It was only natural then, that I should join the PIASTA-team last term. I have been contributing to making the University environment even more international and have been meeting new and interesting people from all over the world on the way.
