About me
Hi, Hallo, Mabuhay, Magandang araw, Naimbag nga aldaw, buenos dias...!

My name is Julie and I come from the Philippines. I am also known as July, Yaya, Dado, Ann, Manang, Ading, Anak, Ate, Kabsat, Giyyem and many others. I love greeting people in different languages. No, I don't study languages. I'm just lucky to have learned six languages (two of which are at least on a level of being able to order the food I like in a restaurant). The number could still grow as I am blessed to meet people from various cultures everyday. Add to that the language I have developed to communicate with children.
As a student of M.A. Political Science and a degree holder in B.Sc. Psychology, music may not be the first thing that comes to mind. But yes, I'm "almost" always in the mood for a melody. It's my habit to put melodies into the words I utter or vice versa. I wish I have all the time to play them on the piano or guitar and compose a new song. The great thing about PIASTA is that it offers a variety of activities that caters to the needs of students and alumni. I am pleased to be involved in many ways. Organizing the "International Night of Music" is the highlight since music always plays a big part in my day-to-day life.
