Accessing Microfilm

• If you are interested in obtaining a copy of microfilm, please first consider inquiring the NRC (nrc@wlink.com.np) via e-mail.
• The actual order will be placed at the National Archives in Kathmandu:

• An order will incur the following charges:
1. Microfilm duplicate: 25.00 NRS/folio + 55.00 NRS/ft. of film
2. Printouts from microfilm reader:  60.00 NRS/sheet
3. Digital photograph: 125.00 NRS/image file (this service is available only for items of A and B series, i.e. MSS kept at the NAK)
4. Photocopy (of printed matters only): 35.00 NRS/sheet
5. Postage and handling (inquire at the time of the order; postage usually is handled and charged by TNT courier service)
• Please note: It is not possible to order copies of selected document portions (such as individual pages of a manuscript), copies of documents always must refer to the full content of a reel number ("reel numbers" would be e.g. A 20/1, B 21/4, C 7/2, and the like)
• Those who reside in Germany may place an order directly at the Staatsbibliothek at Berlin. Inquire:
