Research interests |
| My research focuses on bioenergetics and feeding ecology of small pelagic schooling fish like sprat and herring. I am especially interested in experiments investigating metabolic rates, feeding activities and consumption rates of juvenile sprat and herring. A special focus is also on the determination of swimming activities in relation to feeding rates by the use of automated image analyses, both in laboratory experiments and in field studies. Furthermore I am interested in sprat and herring growth and condition studies using long-term field data and measurements of otolith annual rings. |
