Research interests |
| I am interested in “bottom-up” regulations of Phyto- & zooplankton dynamics and their influence on energy transfer in aquatic systems. Specifically, I focus on (i) how physico-biological processes regulate phytoplankton “quality” as food for mesozooplankton production, (ii) macromolecular biochemical constrains on the behavioural physiology of mesozooplankton, and (iii) feeding regulation and its parameterization within marine ecosystem and biogeochemical models. |
