Research interests

The research field I am interested in is quiet broad. I worked with pelagic and demersal fish in previous studies, where I looked into early life history traits in herring (Clupea harengus L.) and cod (Gadus morhua L.). Now I have moved towards Integrated Ecosystem Assessment (IEA) in the Baltic Sea. The question of survival chances as well as the recruitment success of different species under given and changing conditions is the topic that I am very interested in. Not only the physiological, chemical and physical components, that play an important role in an ecosystem, but also the economic and social contributions towards a sustainable environment are the focus of my future studies.

Presently, I am working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Möllmann in the research group MYFISH (Maximising yield of fisheries while balancing ecosystem, economic and social concerns).
