Peter H. Feindt, Dr. rer. pol., born 1967,
studied Economics, Political Science and Philosophy. PhD in Social Sciences and Economics with a thesis about Discourse and Bargaining Procedures in the Context of Theories of Democracy and Control.

Since 1990 he works as a freelance facilitator with the main focus on participation of civil society, political dialogue and mediation.

Since 2000 scientific assistant with the Research Centre on Biotechnology, Society and the environment at the University of Hamburg, since 2002 head of the Research Group „AgChange. Conflicts of the new agricultural policy”.

Since 2003 member of the board of the Environmental Policy and Global Change section of the German Political Science Association (DVPW).

Since 2005 member of the Advisory Council for Biodiversity and Genetic Resources at the Federal Ministry of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture.
