The Workshops
The nine workshops of the conference will all be closely related to their preceding plenary lectures. The idea is to take the main focus of the lecture, which is usually situated in one particular country, as a starting point for discussions in the workshops that include not only state of the art and evaluation, but also international transfer and development of the basic situation depicted by the speakers in the plenary.
It is our aim with the workshops to advance mutual understanding of the problems as well as of the achievements of the ombuds system on an international level. Above that, we hope that the workshops will support and enhance communication and allow us to search together for ways of further improvement, at each of our home universities as well as in other institutions of higher education worldwide.
