The University of Hamburg , Germany’s fifth largest university with almost 40.000 students, and the Ombudsman of the German Research Foundation will be welcoming the participants of the 7th ENOHE Annual Conference from March 26th to 28th, 2009. It will take place at the University of Hamburg, Main building - west wing ("ESA West") Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1 in 20146 Hamburg.
Hamburg
is located in Northern Germany on the River Elbe, 110 kilometers inland
from the North Sea. It is the second largest city in Germany, with some
1.7 million people in the metropolitan area. Right in the heart of
Hamburg, you find the famous Hamburg Harbour – this and many more
attractive sites make Hamburg the most populous non-capital city in the
European Union. And it will be the host city of ENOHE’s 2009 Conference.
Following
the proven format of previous years, the two day conference will offer
plenary lectures by renowned experts on key issues, workshops with
interactive discussions as well as social events for networking with
old friends and meeting new colleagues. The conference will be preceded
by a day of pre-conference workshops.
A special sightseeing
program is planned for your pleasure. Possibilities include a stroll
through the famous “Speicherstadt” or along the Reeperbahn, including a
tribute to the Beatles either at the Indra Club or Kaiserkeller off the
Reeperbahn where they (in 1960) had launched their international career. |
