The University of Hamburg's project ABK on-line (General Professional Skills), funded by ELCH, aims to create proto-types of eLearning modules for the area of general professional skills in B.A. degree programs. Several departments and faculties need to tackle these new challenges in their teaching plans on an inter-departmental and inter-university basis. A major aspect involves integrating the eLearning module into instruction and teaching organization within a blended-learning framework.

The free and web-based study module "E-Didakt" by the Center for University and Continuing Education provides didactic qualifications for university instructors in the field of eLearning. As a self-study module with theoretical background and a reference work of examples, exercises and design ideas, it provides an opportunity for instructors to independently develop didactic skills in using eLearning in university instruction.
