Concepts and Aims
The goal of our work is to understand patterns and constraints of species distributions focusing on mammals.
This includes studies on the composition of vertebrate communities, their biogeographic evolution, physiological
constraints, food selection, interspecific interactions and how species react to changing environmental
conditions. The results are used to promote the integration of biodiversity conservation and economic development.
