Try Out University Sport from 2 to 15 April 2012

To kick off the summer semester program, University Sport Hamburg invites students to try out all of its courses between 2 and 15 April. Just come along and try out our courses for free! No registration required!
The SportsCard is valid for the entire semester (six months) and provides entry to over 240 sports courses in over forty types of sports. Students can also book a free training session in one of the three fitness studios at the HAW Hamburg, the TU Harburg, and in the Sport Park at Uni Hamburg. More...

Student Initiative Vision

Studenteninitiative Weitblick The Student Initiative Vision actively promotes educational opportunities world-wide. With students' know-how and voluntary participation, we would like to assist people on their path out of poverty and into a life they have determined themselves. In order to do this we provide support for building educational institutions and sponsor school children in third world countries. We help to send young people from Germany out to work on social projects all over the world and provide more vision in Germany with our many and eclectic events on educational issues.

First Semester Mentoring

PIASTA Logo You’re not on your own for a successful semester start! During your first semester at Universität Hamburg you’ll regularly meet in a small group with your PIASTA Mentor. You’ll discuss, for example, learning organization, tips for writing a term paper, but you’ll also get to know each other. The PIASTA Mentors are experienced international students that have been trained to lead intercultural learning groups. More ...

Results of the Graduate Survey 2008

The results of the first, university-wide graduate survey are available since November 2009. In 2008, an inter-university cooperative project conducted a comprehensive survey of university graduates. The aim of the survey was to acquire an overview of graduates' professional situation and career paths following graduation. Job Fair at the Universität Hamburg

On 17 and 19 May 2001 Stellenwerk – The Job Fair will once again provide students with the opportunity to find out all there is to know about starting out in a job and planning a career. Representatives from over eighty companies and many different branches of industry will present their companies in the Main University Building. Students will be able to forge new contacts in their chosen career area and obtain an overview of internships, trainee programs and employment prospects on offer in these companies. Fishing for Experiences: Teaching Key Skills For the Workplace in Interdisciplinary Practical Projects

Would you like to prepare yourself successfully for getting a job? Then "Fishing for Experiences", a joint project of the three major Hamburg universities, has a lot to offer. Participants in the workshops train key skills for the workplace and have the opportunity to subsequently apply the skills learned to real problems experienced by businesses today. University Sport Tester Weeks from 28.03. - 10.04.2011

To kick off the summer course program you can come along and try out sport courses from over 240 courses on the SportsCard during the two weeks from 28.03. - 10.04.2011. The tester weeks are free and no course registration is required. The SportsCard is your entry ticket to over 240 courses in more than 50 different sports. New Semester Fee from Summer Semester 2011

The semester fee has been raised as of summer semester 2011 to 260 Euros. Students should be able to transfer their semester fee via their STiNE-account from the beginning of February. More ...
