The Student Initiative Vision actively promotes educational opportunities world-wide. With students' know-how and voluntary participation, we would like to assist people on their path out of poverty and into a life they have determined themselves. In order to do this we provide support for building educational institutions and sponsor school children in third world countries. We help to send young people from Germany out to work on social projects all over the world and provide more vision in Germany with our many and eclectic events on educational issues.
For the first time Universität Hamburg is producing a brochure dedicated solely to its master's programs. The brochure provides bachelor students and those already in the workforce with information on consecutive master's programs as well as on all other taught post-graduate programs. The printed brochure is available from the Department of Communications and Public Relations.
Every year the Universität Hamburg invites high school students at the secondary level II from Hamburg and surrounding regions as well as all other prospective students to find out about study opportunities. Numerous lectures are offered in the individual departments and institutions at the university. Visitors may also take a peek at lectures to get an idea of daily student life.
