Students in all departments who would like to complete an a foreign internship of at least three months can now apply for subsidies from the LLP ERASMUS Mobility Program.
Starting in winter semester 2009/2010, the PIASTA Café will also be open during the day: Tuesday and Wednesdays from 10 am to 6 pm. The cafè is run by students at the University of Hamburg and students can talk about life in Hamburg and studying at the University over a drink or a snack. This seminar is especially designed for students from non EU-countries and students from Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic, because they have to follow special guidelines concerning residence permits.
The deadline for STIP-OUT, the Hamburg Fellowship for Outgoings, is November 11th, 2009. STIP-OUT offers partial travel aid for study-related travel abroad (language courses, internships, academic study). STIP-OUT offers 1000 euros for three-month stays and 500 euros for shorter stays.
