China Education Expo 2007

Shanghai From October 26-28 the China Education Expo took place in Shanghai. The University of Hamburg participated in this important educational fair with its own stand at the DAAD/GATE pavilion. The head of the Department of International Affairs supervised our stand at the fair and reported that many guests visited the stand. Prospective master students inquired in par-ticular about English language courses and programs; with regard to bachelor programs, much interest was expressed by prospective young Chinese applicants who already have good German skills. Following the fair, Jochen Hellmann represented the university at the ‘Deutscher Hochschultag’ (German Higher Education Day) in Nanjing.
