Es wird die sensible Innervation der Schleimhaut der Mundhöhle, die Innervation der Zähne und die des Periodontiums untersucht. Die bisherigen Erkenntnisse über die sensible Innervation der Mundhöhle sind ungenügend. Die Untersuchung soll mit Hilfe von licht-, elektronenmikroskopischen und immunhistochemischen Methoden erfolgen.
