To confirm your proficiency in the languages English, French, Spanish and Italian we provide the DAAD-Language Certificate.
This certificate shows the individual competencies in the areas listening and reading comprehension as well as written and oral expression.
The written part lasts 45 minutes and consists of a grammar test and a self-composed essay on a given subject.
The oral exam includes an interview of approximately 30 minutes in which you have to hold a short presentation on a subject-based text (usually a newspaper article) and answer questions on this text in order to show your reading comprehension. The preparation time for the presentation is 20 minutes.
The costs for the certificate amount to 50 € for external participants and 25 € for those who attend a corresponding language course with us. The fee will be charged approximately 2 weeks after the test.
